The 36V (18V X2) LXT® Brushless 7-1/4” Circular Saw Kit (XSH06PT) is a cutting-edge product powered by Makita’s brushless motor technology and battery innovation. It utilizes two 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion batteries to deliver impressive power without the need for a cord, allowing for greater mobility and flexibility.
The XSH06PT is equipped with an electronically-controlled BL™ Brushless motor that adjusts torque and RPM to the application, maximizing performance and efficiency. The saw is also fitted with Automatic Speed Change™ technology, which adjusts the cutting speed and torque under load for optimal performance. With these features, the XSH06PT can make up to 610 cross-cuts per charge in 2×4 SPF lumber and up to 320 crosscuts per charge in 2×10 SPF lumber, making it a top-performing tool in its category.
Weighing only 10.5 lbs with batteries, this tool is also designed with user comfort in mind. The die-cast magnesium base and blade guard ensure durability while reducing weight. The XSH06PT also features a large 2-5/8” cutting capacity at 90 degrees, an electric brake for maximum productivity, and a built-in dust blower to keep the line-of-cut clean. A built-in tether notch also adds an extra layer of safety (tether sold separately).
This circular saw is part of Makita’s expanding 18V Lithium-Ion system, which is the largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries. Makita 18V Lithium-Ion batteries are known for their fast charge times, allowing for more time working and less time waiting for a battery to charge. The XSH06PT is also designed with Star Protection Computer Controls™, a technology that allows the tool and battery to exchange data in real-time and monitor conditions during use to prevent overloading, over-discharging, and overheating.
