In internal tests, the XSR01PT achieved up to 558 cross-cuts per charge in 2×4 SPF lumber with two fully-charged 5.0Ah batteries. Additional features include a large 2-9/16″ cutting capacity at 90 degrees, capable of cutting 3X lumber in a single pass, and an electric brake for optimal productivity. The saw incorporates a die-cast magnesium base and blade guard, as well as a die-cast aluminum blade cover and motor housing for enhanced durability and reduced weight (only 12.4 lbs. with batteries).
As part of Makita’s expanding 18V Lithium-Ion system, the world’s most extensive cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries, the XSR01PT benefits from batteries with the fastest charge times in their categories. This means more time working and less time charging.
