18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Sub-Compact Brushless Cordless 6-1/2” Circular Saw Kit (2.0Ah)

The Makita Sub-Compact 6-1/2” Circular Saw is designed for cutting and ripping applications. Its compact and ergonomic design, at only 10-5/8” and 6.4 lbs with a 18V LXT® Compact 2.0Ah battery, provides users with a more compact cutting solution for a variety of tasks such as framing, roofing, and formwork. The saw’s compact size, combined with its Makita-built brushless motor, delivers up to 5,000 RPM and a superior power-to-weight ratio.

The XSH04RB model is equipped with Automatic Speed Change™ technology, which adjusts cutting speed and torque under load to ensure optimum performance. The brushless motor is electronically controlled and provides up to 50% longer run time than non-brushless motors, with testing showing the XSH04 can make up to 174 cross-cuts per charge using a 5.0Ah battery. For extended run time, users have the option of using a high amp-hour 18V LXT® battery with capacities ranging from 3.0Ah to 6.0Ah.

The saw also features dual L.E.D. lights, an electric brake, a built-in tether notch, and Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) for improved dust and water resistance in harsh job site conditions. The rear dust port allows for easy connection to a vacuum system for improved dust extraction.
